LEARN TO ROW
Learn to Row is a 4 session program designed for the true beginner...no experience necessary! The purpose of the Learn to Row program is to introduce athletes to the sport of rowing in a fun and engaging environment. Athletes will begin to develop sound fundamentals and necessary skills including posture, balance, control, timing and touch throughout their Learn to Row.
Athletes participating in our Learn to Row program will learn the basics of the rowing stroke, rowing terminology, equipment handling, and basic in-boat skills relating to body position and movement sequencing. The program is designed to optimize your understanding of rowing mechanics, and the introduction of new motor skills. Our goal is to provide all participants with the essentials they need to be safe, self-sufficient, and confident while rowing.
